Our facilities
UKCBC acts as a focal point in education in its students lives, and a home to student's knowledgebase, there are many nearby shared accommodation facilities, restaurants, shops, banks, health centres, chapels, career centres, super markets, public library, cinema hall, shopping mall, a superb new sports complex and playing fields, a Students' Union giving students an active social scene. Students appreciate the convenience of living in Gants hill, Ilford, Stratford and nearby local residence which provide comfortable accommodation within easy reach of college and all main facilities.
Library
UK College of Business and Computing library has selected books related to our academic programmes including core course books and some supplementary materials. The management of the College always tries to update the library with the new latest publications.
Computer Labs
All students of UK College receive free access to the internet via a fast broadband service in order to undertake research work for their assignments and course works. There are two IT Labs equipped with latest computer hardwares and softwares. Printing and photocopying facilities are also available to all students at a reasonable price. Wireless internet access through the college WiFi network is also available for students throughout the college premises.
Intranet
Students have access to the college intranet. The college intranet has many valueable services such as access to the timetable, checking of exam results, access to course materials, academic resources and uptodate information on college developments. Students can access the college Intranet either from the college campus network or externally from their homes.
Research
UKCBC has earned good reputation for developing student's skills & knowledge. Our students join a community in which academic staff are working at the frontiers of their subjects and reflect the current thinking and latest developments in both technology and market trends. UKCBC enhanced successful relationship with the local community and business establishments and provide a wonderful study environment for our students; the college encourages the exchange of knowledge and skills available in the region to reach our students by assisting them in finding a local job to enhance their knowledge.
Disabled Access
The college building has disabled access and there are disabled toilets.
UK College has a full-time Disability Support Officer who works on developing a range of disabled access and facilities information available to members of the public, including prospective students. This site is therefore being regularly updated to include vital information for disabled users. Special accessibility softwares and special accomodation arrangements are available for disabled students.
